5 Things to do This Weekend in the Lehigh Valley (March 22nd - 24th)

By Rebecca Seidenberger, Macaroni KID Allentown and Bethlehem March 20, 2024

1- Find a Local Easter Egg Hunt

Saint Patrick's Day is over and the next holiday is around the corner. Macaroni KID Allentown and Bethlehem have rounded up the best local egg hunts and other Easter-themed events. There are quite a few this Saturday, so leave time in your schedule to find a great one! (Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd and 24th)

2- Be My Neighbor Day

Join Daniel Tiger on this special day connecting with and helping your neighbors!  Be My Neighbor Day is a free, family-friendly event and we’re planning a lot of fun things to do! You can meet Daniel Tiger, listen to stories, learn how police officers care for their horses, dance and sing with Lolly Hopwood, make bookmarks and kindness buckets – and more! (Saturday, March 23rd)

3- Visit the NEW Slime Time II Location

What's better than one Lehigh Valley Slime Time location? Two Slime Time locations! The newest Slime Time has opened at The Promenade, and it is now open! Stop in with your children to make slime, play in a giant sensory bin, or jump around in a giant bounce house. (Friday - Sunday, March 22nd - 24th)

4- The Great Garden Escape

The Cops 'n' Kids book room, in the Southside NCCC building, was one of my kids' favorite places to visit when they were little! Not only can your child get free gently-used books to bring home and enjoy, but they also host great events for kids. This weekend, come to a fun garden-themed event. Listen to a story and plant your own fruits and vegetables. (Saturday, March 23rd)

5- Kids Take Over at The Phantoms

Join Lehigh Humane Society at the Phantoms on Sunday, when the Phantoms host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 3:05PM. Then, stay after the game for autographs. (Sunday, March 24th)
